This lecture series for adult audiences will feature local historians, educations and more as they share their knowledge of local and regional history. Each event will feature a new subject with a presentation that may include video, slide shows or other interpretive aides. This month’s program features author, Stephen Goldman, author of book “One More War to Fight: Union Veterans’ Battle for Equality through Reconstruction, Jim Crow, and the Lost Cause”. The topic of the talk will be “The Brownsville Affray: A White Union Veteran’s Lonely Fight for Justice for Black Soldiers Summarily Cashiered by President Theodore Roosevelt”. Arrive early and take a self-guided tour of Josiah Henson and Park. Doors open at 5pm.

This is an adult program and will take place at the Josiah Henson Museum and Park visitor center. Refreshments provided. Admission, $5 per person. Tickets available onsite.
